You've found the online portfolio of Ryan Moore (just in case you didn't see the big title up top!)
To give you a better sense of who I am outside of designing games, here are 5 important things in my life: Video Games, Music, Film, Family and Dragon Slaying (stay with me here!).
This is the big (and obvious) one. If you've seen the rest of my site, you know that I love to design video games, but I also love to play video games! I have a special place in my heart for First Person Shooters and Action/Adventure games, but I have a lot of experience with just about every genre!
I've been playing drums for the last 15 years. I've played just about every style that uses percussion, from Jazz to Orchestral to Heavy Metal. I've also had experience with a wide variety of percussion instruments from the drum set to an African instrument called the Udu. I've also had some experience with guitar, bass, piano and singing.
Movies have been a huge interest of mine for as long as I can remember. I'm a big fan of pretty much all genres of film, and enjoy making short movies on my own time. During college I studied film as a Minor and developed a strong interest in Cinematography. I wrote, produced, directed and edited several of my own films, as well as worked on other projects doing Special Effects and Cinematography.
I grew up in a military family. We ended up moving around a lot, typically spending only a few short years in each place. While I've made many new friends over the years, my family has been a constant throughout. I've been fortunate to have my family grow over the years and be one of the strongest influences in who I have become today.
I know what you're thinking: "What does he mean by Dragon Slaying?" What I mean is that I have love for things that are exciting and epic, like Dragon Slaying. I love to create and be part of stories that pit powerful forces against each other. Take Dragon Slaying: a human (or other race if you prefer) facing a giant, mythical creature that flies and breaths fire. What could be more epic and exciting?
Well there you have it! A little more about the man behind the projects! As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
